Samuel “Nick” George, Jr., 40, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are mother, Charles Ann Mitchell of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Zsanetta Myers of DeRidder, LA and Alexis DeAnna George of Henderson, TX; Aunt, Katherine Moses of Dry Creek, LA; nephew, Brodey Scott George of Henderson, TX; niece, Elona Frye of Lake Charles, LA; cousins, Kevin George of Lake Charles, LA and Joel Moses of Baytown, TX; a host of other cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel George, Sr.; grandparents, Spero & Jessie George; grandmother, Joy Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. The funeral service starting at 6:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
