H.C. Myers, 87, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, June, 17, 2018.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 65 years, Erma Jean Myers of DeRidder, LA; son, Mike Myers & Debbie of Merryville, LA; daughter, Cynthia Scott and Wilson of Deridder, LA; brother, Clabert Myers of Oklahoma; sister, Marie Doyal of DeRidder, LA; son-in-law, Larry Dixson of Tennessee; brother-in-law, Charlie Sandefer of DeRidder, LA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Preceding him in death are his daughter, Shelia Dixson; parents, Anthony and Georgetta Myers; brothers, Buford, Arlie, Wilford and Edward Myers; sisters, Reba Hale, Retha Ashworth, Dorothy Blanchard, Sybil Whiddon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 also Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Reverend Clyde Snyder and Reverend Malcolm Seal will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Samuel Tilly, Bro. Bo Whitaker, Phillip Gardiner, Ed Garcia, Ben Garcia and Steven Myers.  Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA
