David F. Barmore, 57, passed from this life on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home in DeRidder, LA.

David was born on September 7, 1959 in Ruston, LA, but was a lifelong resident of DeRidder.  He graduated from DeRidder High School and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University.  He was a loved employee of Morris Tire Service his whole life.  His greatest love was his children.

Those left to treasure his memory are his mother, Shirley Boggs; his son, Chad Barmore; his daughter, Amanda Barmore; his brother, Alan “Bo” Barmore and wife Vicki; his sister, Kim Butler and husband Terry; his close friends, John “Tad” Nelson & Jim Morris; his Morris Tire “family”; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Barmore; his brother, Mark Barmore; and his step-father, Robert Boggs.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held at Grace Church on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am prior to the service.  Pastor George Lee Glass, Jr. will officiate the service and burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
