April 25, 1943 - January 3, 2015

James O’Rear, 71, of Starks, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Lake Charles, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Bessie Rigmaiden of Sugartown, LA; soul mate, Jennifer Bennett of Starks, LA; 11 step children; 26 granchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Clark, brothers, and sister.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at First Baptist Church in Starks, LA. Funeral services are Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Starks, LA.  Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Starks, LA.  Rev. Dalton Isabell will officiate.
