Brother William Watson Hughes, Jr., of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, October 22, 2018. He loved the Lord and spread his message for 55 years as a Lay Minister and later as Pastor of Charity Tabernacle of Dry Creek, LA. He loved to farm, sing, and spoil his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse of 30 years, Darla Wright Hughes of Dry Creek, LA; son, Daniel Mark Hughes of Saudi Arabia; daughter, Leslie Naomi Melville and Brian of Newport News, VA; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Ada Bell Hughes; sister, Cora Sue Bamburg; daughter, Ramona Faith Hughes.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at Charity Tabernacle in Dry Creek, LA.  Visitation will start at 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 2:00 PM.  Brother Chuck Fritz, Brother William Creel, Brother David Edigo and Brother Dale Howard will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA
