Mr. Jones, 60, passed from this  life on Sunday, May 4, 2008.

He is survived by his wife: Mildred McMillian Peevy Jones of East Baton Rouge, LA; son:Dewey Jud Jones of Slaughter, LA; daughter,:Cordelia Ruth Peevy of Pineville, LA; brothers: Ralph Long of Dorr, Michigan and Robert Jones of Biloxi, Mississippi and 3 grandchildren.
