Xalynn Heather Foster-McCarty, newborn, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Heather McCarty of Leesville, LA and James Tommy Foster, Jr. of Colfax, LA; brothers, Xavier Guy McCarty, Xaciah Micah McCarty, both of Leesville, LA; sister, Xailah Ann Foster-McCarty of Leesville, LA; grandmother, Sadia Midkiff of Leesville, LA; great grandmother, Ruth Midkiff of Leesville, LA; uncle, Jason McCarty and Monica of Leesville, LA; aunts, Christina Pearce and John II of Rosepine, LA, Dawna Johnson and Carrol of Pineville, LA, Tina Catteruccia and Darrin of Colfax, LA, Pamela Foster of Colfax, LA; cousins, John Pearce III, Alexis Pearce, Taylor McCarty, Jason Tyler McCarty, Evan Pearce, Kailey McCarty, Lance Walker, Nathan Walker, Brandie Arnett, Rebecca Coldiron and Krin Catteruccia; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Tommy Foster, Sr.; grandmother, Geraldine Foster; great grandfather, Raymond Midkiff.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine LA.  Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM, also at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church. Pastor Gary Bankson and Brother Roland Zills will be officiating the service.  Pallbearers will be John Pearce II and John Pearce III.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Xavier McCarty and Xaciah McCarty. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Cottonwood, LA.
