Winston "RC" Buxton, born on May 4, 1928, in Singer, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. He was 97 years old. A devoted Christian, RC dedicated his life to the Lord and was known for his unwavering faith; his daughters, Anna and Sarah, will always remember him as a man who lived his faith daily.
RC was a loyal member of the Believers of Louisiana Church and could often be found with his Bible in hand. Beyond his spiritual commitments, he was a hard-working heavy equipment operator in the construction industry, where he built roads and dug ponds until his retirement.
He served his country in the Army, during the Korean War, also working as a heavy equipment operator, proving his commitment both at home and abroad. Although RC was a quiet man, he stood firmly for what he believed in and taught his family the value of hard work and perseverance.
