Willie Edd Rogers, 64, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Abigail Rogers; son, Heath Rogers and daughter, Carla Rogers both of South Carolina and stepson, Albert R. Cooksey Jr. of DeRidder, LA; four brothers and five sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Hester Rogers; stepdaughter, LeeAnna Cooksey; sister Vivian Diane Rogers and brother-in-law, Harold Ray Jackson.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Sweet Home Baptist Church in DeRidder, Louisiana from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Rev. Freddie Thomas Jr. will officiate.
