Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. All at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeRidder, Louisiana. Rev. George Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Community Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Ms. Mayes is survived by Sons: Frank Mayes & wife Audrey of DeRidder, LA, George Mayes of DeRidder, LA, Daniel Mayes & wife Linda of Lake Charles, LA; Daughters: Isadora & husband Rev. James Piper of DeRidder, LA, Rosie L. Jackson of DeRidder, LA; 24 Grandchildren; 53 Great Grandchildren; 15 Great-Great Grandchildren.
