Vera Jeans Burr Sonnier 84, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.  Visitation was held on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Interment was held at Meadows Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

Vera is survived by her sons: Wilmer Jeans Burr and Robert (Bob) Dean Burr; daughter: Judith Rose Burr Cook; daughters-in-law: Doris Ruston  Burr, Linda Burr and Susan Burr; son-in-law: James T. (Tom) Cook, Jr.; brothers: Robert (Sonny) Jeans, Donald Jeans, Jack Jeans and Jesse (JE) Jeans; sisters: Doris Jeans McClung and Rosemary Jeans; sisters-in-law: Alene Jeans and Marylou Jeans; brother-in-law: Johnny McClung; grandchildren: David, Melissa, Robin, Kyra, Jay, Bo, Laura, jason, Rebecca, Miles, Amanda, Andrea and Max; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews.
