Vada Mae Smith Foshee, 93, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Louella Woodard, Delores Cooley, both of DeRidder, LA; daughter-in-law, Donna Foshee of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Christopher(Charee)Foshee, Justin(Kylie) Foshee, Brittney(Neil) Foshee, Norman(Brooke) Foshee; great grandchildren, Amorah, Amoni, Ameron, Gavin, Arden, Alexis, Austyn, Ashlan; great-great grandchildren, Tripp, Alorah Lynn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Foshee; son, Norman Foshee; daughter, Kathlyn Sonnier; great grandson, Christopher Foshee, Jr.; parents, Henry and Anna Smith; ten brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Frank Ott will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
