Talton Roman Brown

It is with our deepest sadness to announce the passing of our loved one, Talton Brown who left us on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 12, 1958, in DeRidder, LA to Effion Brown, Sr. and Earma Mae Brown.

Talton was a graduate of DeRidder High School Class of 1976. He worked for Boise Cascade in Florien, LA for fifteen years up until his retirement in January of 2026.

He loved being outside working in the yard, tending flowers and watching birds.

Talton leaves to cherish his memory and life, his wife, Loraine Brown of DeRidder, LA; daughter, India Banks of Baton Rouge, LA; son, Montreal Knoxx of Baton Rouge, LA; bonus daughter, Sarah Agbayani (Marcus Piggott) of TX; bonus son, Seth Agbayani of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Dorothy Davis of DeRidder, LA, Shirley Brown (Alouther Brown) of Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren and a host on nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Kenneth Seastrunk will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jaden Atkins, Wesley Rachel, Ronnie Moore, Chris Brown, Corrie Massey, Seth Agbayani. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerry Davis, Jr., Steve Delia, Alouther Brown, Bryson Agbayani, Jewel Banks. Burial will follow the service at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
