VISITATION: Friday, August 1, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA;

SERVICE:  Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA

MINISTERS: Pastor Keith Stevenson and Rev. Elliot Ford

INTERMENT: Community Cemetery; DeRidder, LA;

SURVIVORS:Sons: James Rhodes, Jr. of DeRidder, LA; Sherman Rhodes of Houston, TX and Calvin Rhodes of Detroit, MI; Daughters: Patricia Parker and husband Wilbert of Lake Charles, LA; Millie Oliver and husband David of Leesville, LA; Cecilia Henderson of DeRidder, LA and Shalinda Dunbar and husband Shantell of DeRidder, LA;17 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. James “J.W.” Rhodes, Sr.; 2 sons: Silvin and Alvin Rhodes; and 2 grandchildren: Joshua McClintock and Dierdra Clark.

She was a longtime member of Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.
