Stuart Boyd Anderson, 55, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

He spent most of his time with his family. Especially, enjoying every moment he could with his grandchildren, who had him wrapped around their fingers. Teaching them how to love and live a Godly, respectful life. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and, with the help of his grandkids, growing a vegetable garden in his free time. He brought so much laughter to his family which extended to everyone he met whether in his personal life or work life.

Stuart began his career with Frito Lay in 1997 as a Route Sales Representative at the DeRidder distribution center. Through his strong work ethic and talent, he took on the promotion of District Sales Leader in 2004. In this role, Stuart’s excellence in his career was truly shown. He won many awards within his company including the prestigious award of the Chairman’s Ring of Honor which he won three times. A much unheard-of event within Frito Lay North America organization. Most importantly, was his ability to lead others with integrity, compassion, and selflessness which he demonstrated not just in his career but throughout his entire life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-four years, Felisha Anderson of DeRidder, La. Sons, Jaron and Ayla Anderson of Longville, La, Garrett Anderson of DeRidder, La; parents, Jerry and Wanda Anderson of Sugartown, La; brothers Jason Anderson of Sugartown, La, Jon and Sylvia Anderson of Dry Creek, La; grandchildren, Reese Anderson, Bleu Anderson, Cadence Anderson, Jolene Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Mildred “Nuna” Young of Sugartown, La, Carson and Anna James Anderson of Chihowie, Va.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue Sunday, December 5, 2021 from Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Randy Satterfield and Brother Charlie Kerr will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Walker, Mike Clark, Chuck Kennedy, Kevin Statum, Kurt Endries and Jeff Gattis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Ellis, Jeff Price, Earl Spooner, Jon Anderson and Jason Anderson. Burial will follow at Sugartown Baptist Church Cemetery in Sugartown, LA.
