Shirley Vercher Benoit

Shirley Vercher Benoit, 77, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Shirley loved her family unconditionally; she was treasured and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Earlene Pittman and Chuck of Swannanoa, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Sonny” Benoit; parents, Tarlton and Theresa Vercher; brother, John “Johnny” Vercher.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
