Sheryl Ann Brice Brown

Sheryl Ann Brice Brown, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on her 65th birthday, October 27, 2025, in DeRidder, Louisiana. Born on October 27, 1960, in France, Sheryl brightened the lives of her family.

As a dedicated homemaker, Sheryl poured her heart into her family. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of twenty-nine years, Gary Brown of DeRidder, LA, and her children, James Dean Douglas of Merryville, LA, David Lyn Brown, Gary Brown and Kailey, Jessica Lynn Whiddon, Amanda Nash, all of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Jim Brice and Teresa of DeRidder, LA, Ray Brice and LaDonna of DeRidder, LA. Her love extended to her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, who brought her great joy, especially when they came over to style her hair and do her makeup. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Joan Brice.

Sheryl had a special bond with her furry friend, Sammy the cat, and found peace and joy in her love of gardening. Whether whipping up her German Bell Peppers or a mouthwatering Etouffee, her cooking was always a highlight for family gatherings. Sheryl knew the Bible well and often turned to its teachings for strength and guidance.

The family will be holding a funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A public viewing from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.

Though she has left this world, Sheryl's love and spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched. We will cherish her memory forever.
