Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Alice Deffinger officiated.
Sarah is survived by her daughters: Betty Rea Curtis of DeRidder, LA and Shirley Ann Bowman and husband Alan of Augusta, KS; sister: Alice Deffinger of Mansfield, OH; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Ida Short; father: Harry Short; brother Nick Baxter.
