Sandra Kathleen Williams

Sandra Kathleen Williams departed this life on Sunday, July 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Sandra “Sandy” was born to Minnie Ola Akins Brown and Charles Williams on June 12th, 1961, in Lake Charles, LA. She later moved to Deridder, LA where she was raised and made her lifelong home.

While in Deridder, Sandra was a dedicated caregiver and friend to Mr. Oliver and Mrs. Irma Ellis until their passing. Sandra joined Zion Hill at a young age and continued to be a faithful member of Norris Memorial COGIC. In her free time, she loved making beaded bracelets and necklaces for everyone she met and finding the best perfumes.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Mary Washington (Von), 8 siblings, Keith, Noryour, Mitchell, Peanut, Raenisha, Belinda, Lavelle, and Jasmine and a host of Aunt's Uncle's nieces and nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her best friend Mrs. Joyce Mae Leger.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Brown, father Charles Williams, and brother Darrell Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Norris memorial COGIC at 1pm. Pastor Piper will officiate the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
