Rufus Edwin Hanchey

Rufus Edwin Hanchey, 75, of Dry Creek, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 7, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Bret Hanchey & wife Tammi of DeRidder and Jeff Hanchey & wife Michelle also of DeRidder and 3 Grandchildren, Myles Hanchey, Ian Hanchey and Gabby Young Hanchey. Preceding him in death was his wife, Barbara Ann Hanchey, and parents, Rufus & Nona Hanchey.  Edwin preceded his sister, Brenda Simms, in death, who passed away the morning of July 8, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA.
