It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruby Lee Stuckey Cole, a true lady and beloved member of our community. Ruby was born on July 26, 1945, in Many, Louisiana, and spent her life bringing joy and kindness to everyone she met. She left us on November 2, 2025, at the age of 80.

Ruby was a devoted homemaker who poured her love into her family, she was a sweet and gentle soul, known for her warm spirit and quiet strength. Ruby truly loved everyone and was always there with a helping hand or a listening ear.

Ruby is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Tommie Cole of DeRidder, LA; son, Carlton Cole of DeRidder, LA and daughter, Amanda Cole of DeRidder, LA; sister, Clara Williams and Don of Silsbee, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Floyce Stuckey and eight siblings.

As a cherished member of the First Baptist Church of DeRidder, Ruby served as a door greeter and worked diligently on the Care Committee for church luncheons, where she organized events and helped bring the community together. Her dedication as chairman for several years made a lasting impact on both the church and her friends.

We invite all who knew and loved Ruby to join us for her funeral service, which will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of DeRidder. A public viewing will be held earlier that day, starting at 9:30 AM, giving everyone a chance to pay their respects. Brother Steve Thomas will officiate the service. Following the service, Ruby will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Pallbearers will be Ronny Parker, Paul Swain, Ronnie Young, Allen Green, Ed Raiford, Randy DeVerger. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Williams and Gary Blackmon.

Ruby's kindness and love will be deeply missed, but we take comfort in the memories we have shared with her.
