It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald John Chambers, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us on November 6, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 9, 1962, in Boston, MA, Ronald spent many years as the owner and operator of a successful cross-country trucking business, pouring his heart into the profession he loved for over 30 years.
Ron had a spirit that resonated with kindness and laughter; he cherished his time with family and friends. He was a proud New England Patriots fan, and anyone who knew him understood his passion for the game. Family vacations in the stunning mountains of Idaho were a tradition he looked forward to, and he found joy in panning for gold during those trips.
Food was another of Ronald's great joys, particularly Checkers fries, which he famously insisted on even during his treatments-those fries were a staple! Alongside his love for food, Ronald's interests spanned riding Harleys, catching new episodes of Storage Wars, belting out tunes at karaoke, woodworking, and strumming his guitar. He had a talent for making people smile, and his generous spirit will be deeply missed by all.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Tina Lynn Chambers of DeRidder, LA, and his children: J.J. West and Sarah of Rosepine, LA, Shona West and Joseph of Sugartown, LA, Scotty West and Shannon of Rosepine, LA, Lacie Kloska and Nathaniel of Chicago, IL, and Rusty West of Rosepine, LA; fourteen grandchildren and his fur babies, Lilly and Tia. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers, Richard Chambers and Richard Dugas, both of Texas, and his sister, Pam Murdock of Sulphur, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Charles Chambers; mother, Claire Grillo and stepfather, Martin Grillo.
Rest in peace, Ronald. You will always be loved and remembered.
