Roger Edward Pierce, 61, of Singer, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, July 23, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Smokey Cove Pentecostal Church in Singer, LA. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA. Brother Clyde Clark will officiate.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Peggy Pierce; son, Roger Dwayne Pierce and wife Heidi of Singer, LA; granddaughter, Lorna Pierce of Singer, LA; brothers, Donald Pierce and wife Linda of Mobile, AL, Carl Pierce, Jr. of Singer, LA and Ronald Pierce and wife Cathryn of DeQuincy, LA; sisters, Evelyn Bowman and husband John of Singer, LA, Miriam Massie of Singer, LA, Lila Couteter and husband Roy of DeRidder, LA, Verna Pickering of Singer, LA and Gail Frazier of Rosepine, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Helen Pierce; four brothers, Jerry, Robert, Kenneth and Thomas Pierce.
