Roger Dale Benoit, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of forty-three years, Ann Myers Benoit; sons, Glen Nelson and Kathy, Lane Nelson and Margo; brothers, Andy Benoit and Peggy, Robert Benoit; sisters, Cynthia Jones and Rodney, Kathy Sullivan, Mary Voizin and Steve, Tammy Wilber and Shane; sister-in-law, Myra Benoit; grandchildren, Devin Shanley and Debora, Lauren Shanley and Rishi Patel, Brandon Nelson, Hannah Blackwell and Crist, Hunter Nelson and Kirsten, Sean Nelson, Ethan Nelson, Evan Nelson, Kelsey Nelson; great grandchildren, Millie, Imre, Charlie, Milo, Asher, Owen, Maggie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.C. Benoit; mother, Agnes (Benoit) Young; stepfather, Malley Young; brothers, Roy Benoit, Pierre Benoit; brother-in-law, Barry Sullivan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Bobby Phantz will officiate the service. Lane Nelson will speak.
