Robert Earl Slaydon

Robert Earl Slaydon, 77, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Owen D. (Junior) Slaydon, Jr.

& Louwilla C. of DeRidder, LA and Chester Slaydon of DeRidder, LA; uncle, Roy Gill of DeRidder, LA; two grandsons, Daniel F. Slaydon of Orange, TX and Robert Allen Slaydon of DeQuincy, LA; four great grandchildren; Gabby Slaydon, Kouper Slaydon, Josie Slaydon and Millie Slaydon; and a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his three wives; son, Mason Earl Slaydon; and parents, Owen D. and Lucille G Slaydon.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Reverend Lyndon Longoria and Reverend Paul Moore will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Owen Deltern “Junior” Slaydon, Chester Slaydon, Roy Gill, Wayne Gill, Daniel Slaydon, and Chet Slaydon. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kouper Slaydon. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
