Richard Craig Cornwell, 54, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his home.  Richard worked in the forestry industry for 37 years.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Cornwell of Merryville; sons, Patrick Cornwell of Sulphur, LA and Richard Brad Cornwell of Merryville, LA; daughter, Sara Beard and husband Chuckie of Merryville, LA; mother, Arlene Cornwell of Merryville, LA; brothers, Curtis Cornwell and wife Julia of Merryville, LA, David Cornwell and wife Mary of Merryville, LA and Bobby Cornwell of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Linda Miers and husband Tommy of DeRidder, LA, Debbie Cornwell of Spring, TX, Patsy Sellers and husband Don of Kaplan, La and Candace Rucker and husband Chris of Hackberry, LA; and grandson, Carson Beard.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Cornwell.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 beginning at 5:00pm at Boxwood Church of Christ in Bivens, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00am at Boxwood Church of Christ.   Burial will follow at Bivens Cemetery.  Bro. Doug Brackbill will officiate.
