Randy Leo Archield

Randy Leo Archield, 64 years old, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born on December 23, 1960, to Robert McCoy and Hazel Archield Spikes.

Randy was a man of unwavering integrity and a heart of gold. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served his country with honor and bravery. Randy had a passion for life that was reflected in his love for the New Orleans Saints and his enthusiasm for watching tennis matches. Family and faith were the cornerstones of his life; he cherished every moment spent with family and friends. His faith in Jesus was a guiding light in his life, and he lived each day by staying true to his word and uplifting those around him. His kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish hi memory are, his mother; Hazel Archield Spikes of Deridder, LA., son; Randy Archield of Atlanta, GA.,Brother; Ruben McCoy of DeRidder, LA., Sister; Rhonda McCoy of DeRidder, LA., Brothers at heart; Leland McGee, Anthony “Tony” Steele, and Joseph “JoJo” Rosendoll, two grandchildren; Adisha Archield and Sydney Archield, God Mothers; Dianna Davis, Uncle Douglas Archield and wife Lula, , Close Friend; Joe Suire, Loving Aunts; Mary Ethel Archield, Carolyn Rickmaiden, and Jean Dillon, with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an friends.

Randy is preceded in death by his Father; Robert McCoy, and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held to honor Randy’s life on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, Louisiana. Reverend John Crosley will officiate the Memorial Service. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
