Peggy "Aileen" Hickman

Peggy “Aileen” Hickman, 81, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Sunday, March 17, 2013.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Garland Ray Hickman of DeRidder, LA; son, Garland Jr. & Wife Angelena of DeRidder, LA; daughter in law, Karin Hickman of DeRidder, LA; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marzelle Rice of Glenmora, LA, Maxine Slaydon of Bridge City, TX, Linda Weatherby of Montana, Lou Slaydon of Singer, LA; brother, Iutress Cooley of Merryville, LA; Caregiver of 2 ½ years, Ms. Daphne Leach. Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by her son, Larry Hickman; sisters, Eulene Dickerson and Faye Perry; brother, Earl Cooley.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 5-9PM at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Bro. Clois Cole will officiate.
