Pedro “Pete” Estrada Zapata, 66, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of one and a half years, Brenda Zapata of DeRidder, LA; siblings, Ubaldo Zapata, Jr. and Adelaide of Waco, TX, San Juana Contino and Shawn of Harker Heights, TX, Antonia Nava of Sierra Vista, AZ, Soleda “Shirley” Beeghley and Samuel of Oceanside, CA, Cresencio Zapata and Song of Temple, TX, Amador Zapata and Kimberly of Lorena, TX, Roberto Zapata and Blanca of Salt Lake City, UT, Josefina Pitkins and John of Sierra Vista, AZ, Linda Johnson and Aurthur of Fresno, CA, Lucia Zapata of Waco, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ubaldo and Maria Zapata; brother, Joe Zapata; niece, Marie A. Zapata.
