Paulette Kent Flack

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulette Kent Flack, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who departed this world on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80. Paulette was born on July 1, 1946, to her parents, Ellis and Esther Kent in Brownsville, TN, but made her home in Singer, LA, where she touched the lives of so many with her warmth and kindness. 

Paulette dedicated her life to her family and the Department of Elections as a voting machine mechanic. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her love for gardening, raising chickens, sewing and cooking for her family. However, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family, creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. 

Paulette is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Flack; her daughters, Rhonda Flack (Laura) of Baton Rouge, Donna Flack Powell (Curtis) of Singer, and Wanda Flack (Allan) of Baton Rouge; her sons, John Flack of Singer and Louis Longlois (Libby) of Sulphur; 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren; her brother, Jimmy Kent of Henning, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Helen, Betty, Jannie, Martha, Barbara, Billy Wayne, Willliam, Robert and Terry, who await her in peace.

 A service to celebrate Paulette's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00PM in Myers Colonial Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 12:00PM until the time of service in the chapel. Service will be officiated by Brother Garrett Fuselier and Brother Garrett Paul Fuselier.

Paulette Kent Flack will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
