Paul LeBeau, Jr.

February 22, 1939 — October 4, 2025

DeRidder, Louisiana

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul LeBeau Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Paul was born on February 22, 1939, in New Orleans, LA, and he passed away on October 4, 2025, in Lake Charles, LA, leaving behind a legacy built on love, laughter, and incredible kindness.

A proud veteran, Paul served our country in the Army from 1964 to 1985, rising to the rank of Colonel during a successful 21-year career, which included active duty in Vietnam. During his military service, Paul pursued his passion for dentistry, earning his Doctorate and making a lasting impact in the field. He built a remarkable career at West Louisiana Dental Center in Leesville, LA, crafting smiles for over 40 years before his retirement.

Paul loved to work in his yard and garden, where he spent countless hours tending to his land and nurturing his many acres. He had a way with animals, never meeting one he didn't adore. Whether he was riding friends around his property on his trusty Kubota or sharing corny jokes during gatherings, Paul always had a story to tell and a smile that could light up any room.

As a devoted family man, Paul supported his three children through college, ensuring they became successful adults with wonderful families of their own. He was married twice, cherishing each union for over 30 years and 27 years, and he left a positive mark on everyone he encountered.

Paul was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church and an active member of the American Dental Association. Through his generosity and willingness to lend a hand, especially during renovation or gardening projects, he brought joy to those around him and created countless beautiful memories.

Paul is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Betty Paige Richard Hanchey LeBeau of DeRidder, LA; sons, Paul Louis LeBeau; Mark LeBeau and Debbie; daughter, Michelle LeBeau Bradon and Tommy; stepdaughters, Debbie Dier and Jim, Susan Hamm and John, Tammy Thomas and Mike, Laurie Cain and Al; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Ann Miller LeBeau; son, Paul Jacques LeBeau; parents, Paul LeBeau Sr. and Valverda LeBeau; sister, Valerie LeBeau Buquoi (Wade).
