Pamela Marie Blackwell Jean

Born 1/25/1964 DeRidder, LA

Death 7/24/2026 Wichita Falls, TX

With much sadness we are announcing our mother Pamela Marie Blackwell Jean passed away on July 24, 2026, after a brief illness. Pam was born in DeRidder Louisiana on January 25, 1964, to her parents Williamson (Billy) Blackwell and Beverly (Bab) Blackwell, lifelong residents (of DeRidder. She graduated from DeRidder High School in 1982.

Pam was always up for a challenge. She loved sports of any kind, riding her motorcycles, riding horses and playing with kids. Always had the kids outdoors exploring life around them. She was involved with youth softball first by issuing instructions from the stands then finally stepping up and coaching the girls. There was nothing she couldn’t do or wouldn’t try to do.

Pam’s life was filled with love from her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was so very proud of all the grandchildren.

She never met a stranger – Her most wanted thing in life was to travel. She got to enjoy her travels in recent years and all the way along making friends – Pam just loved people. Famous in certain circles were Pam’s “Yaya Sisterhood” with friends Barb, Belinda, Cindy & Vicki. They supported each other through good and bad times.

She survives daughters Jade Robbins and Kayla Robbins (Trenton LaBiche) and stepdaughters, Krystal Robbins (Moore), Candie Robbins (Cole) and Brandie Robbins.

She has 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Grandchildren Chloe Green, Carter Green and Cason Cruz Robbins, Rafe William LaBiche, Averie LaBiche. Step grandchildren – Kyla Courville, Kyle Courville, Carlie Blackmon, CallieAnn Vezinat, Dallas Cummings, Christian Holt, Cheyenne Norwood.

Pam was an only child, but our family was very close, She is survived by her “sisters” Vicki Johnston Parker, Debbie Mitchell and Cindy Sharbono, her “niece and nephew” Shawna Guidry Kowis and Sean Guidry and several second cousins in line.

She is preceded in death by her son Mathew Ryan Robbins, her parents, dad Williamson Bily Blackwell and mom Beverly Babs Blackwell, her grandmother Beulah Mitchell and aunt Claudia Coburn. Also gone before are grandsons Alexander Thomas and Andrew Thomas.

Pam will be missed by all who knew and appreciated her attitude towards life. We will have small memorial later.

For donations, find a dog shelter and donate food, time or funds. Her animals were so important to her, and she was constantly helping strays and shelters in her area.
