Norma Elizabeth Vincent Braxton, 55, of Des Moines, IA, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Coby Pettypool and Taylor of Rosepine, LA, Jordan Vincent of Rosepine, LA; daughters, Elizabeth Sylvester and Rickey of Leesville, LA, Chaunte Satcher and James of Des Moines, IA; brothers, Joseph L. Vincent and Angela of Iowa, LA, James Cain of Sulphur, LA, Donald Vincent of Westlake, LA, Anthony Cain and Michelle of TX, Leslie Vincent and Candi of Grand Lake, LA, Keith Vincent of Lake Charles, LA, Billy Ray Dougas and Tiffany of Sulphur, LA; sister, Elaine Vincent of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Donnelle, Johnathon, Alex, Draelyn, Akira, Landen, Raelynn, Jaelee, Aleigha, James II and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Vincent, Sr.; mother, Betty Duhon Vincent; sister, Sally Jean Istri; brother, Louis “Yank” Vincent, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Minister Alvin Walker and Minister Charlotte Walker will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dewey Hixson, Micheal Hebert, Lee Babin, Johnathon Brown, Vincent Touson, Kevin Scott. Burial will follow at Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur, LA.
