He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Kim Cole Weldon of Pitkin, LA; his son, Cade Weldon and wife, Breanna of Moss Bluff, LA; his sister, Judy Weldon of DeRidder, LA; the two greatest joys of his life, his granddaughters, Blake and Palmer; his mother-in-law, Belva Sue Ryan and many other family members and friends who will miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest son, Jody Michael Weldon; sister-in-law, Keleigh Cole Mooney; his fathers-in-law, Sammy Cole and Tom Ryan.
Nolen was a quiet, simple man so his request was a private graveside service at Smyrna Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory in DeRidder, LA.
