Nolance of Orange, TX entered into eternal rest at the age of 89 on June 22, 2026, at 4:58 am surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy of Love, Kindness and Compassion.

He proudly served in the US Army for 6 years and then dedicated his career to the Sheet Metal Trade, where he was recently awarded his Pin and Plaque for 70 years of Union Membership.

He was a gifted craftsman, finding much satisfaction in building and repairing things and was committed to helping with any construction or plumbing needs of neighbors and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Irene Blanchard, children, Steven Blanchard & wife, Trina, Sharon Bertrand & husband, Roger; grandson, Matt Bertrand & fiancé, Chrissy; grandsons, Alstin Bertrand - Brayden Bertrand, Step grandsons: Ethan Petry - James Petry & wife, Stephanie, great step grandchildren, Cameron Petry, Isabella Petry, and great-great grandson Izzreal; sister, Ida Mae Trahan, his most loving companion & support dog "Buddy", closest friend, Michael Claybar plus a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Ida & Nolance Joseph Blanchard Sr., brothers, L.J Blanchard, Wesley Blanchard & Lesley Blanchard; sister, Rose Mae Clement, granddaughter, Amanda Blanchard and grandson, Joshua Bertrand.

Services to be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Orange, 7637 MLK Jr. DR. Orange, TX, 77632
