With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, Noah Lane Bailey, who left us too soon on July 18, 2026, at the tender age of 19. Born on December 3, 2006, in DeRidder, LA, Noah brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him.
Noah was a proud graduate of Parkview Christian Academy, class of 2024 but previously had attended Pickering High School, where he made his mark as a dedicated athlete, playing football and running track. During his early school years, he attended KR Hanchey, Carver Elementary, Pinewood Elementary and Anacoco Elementary School. He loved hunting and fishing and sharing those moments with family and friends.
Beyond sports, Noah had a creative side; he loved painting and arts and crafts, finding inspiration from his favorite artist, Bob Ross. An avid chess player, he learned the game from his dad and quickly became so skilled that his dad often found it hard to win against him! Music was another passion, and Noah showcased his talent by playing both the piano and guitar, often sharing his love of music with those around him only after he had perfected the piece.
Noah's heart was as big as his talents. He was a member of Grace Church, where he enjoyed being a doorkeeper and helping take up the offering. Recently, he discovered his passion for cooking, dedicating himself to preparing healthy meals for neighbors, ensuring no one received anything less than nutritious.
Noah will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Harlan and Regina Bailey; grandparents, Jimmie S. and Jeannette Walker, Jr.; siblings, Christopher Wayne Bailey, LeAnne Brooke Bailey, Samantha Diane Martin-Bailey; aunts and uncles, Juan and Felicia Bernal, Bobby and Candace Taylor, Steve Walker and Amanda, Keith Walker, Scott and Nicole Walker, Joshua Walker; nieces and nephews, Xander, Cole, Conner, Lexi, Kayden, Jeremiah, Braylen, along with countless cousins, church family and friends who were touched by his kindness.
Noah was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Wayne and Anita LaVelle Bailey
In celebrating Noah's life, we invite family and friends to join us for a funeral service at Grace Church on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM, preceded by a public visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Sheldon "Buddy" Maddox, Scott Walker, Cole Johnson, Xander Bailey, Travis Walker, Keith Walker, Kyle Burks. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Let us come together to honor his memory, share stories, and reflect on the beautiful impact he had on all our lives.
Noah, you will forever be missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts.
