Milbre Etta LeDoux Redler, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 78 in her hometown of DeRidder, Louisiana, where she was born on February 25, 1947. Known for her warm heart and endless love for her family, Milbre Etta was a cherished member of the community.

Milbre Etta's devotion to her family shone through in everything she did. She is survived by her son, Bryan Mark Redler and Rebecca of DeRidder, LA, her daughter, Alyson Dooley and Andy of Iowa, LA, and her brother, Frank D. LeDoux and Mary of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Dr. Sydney Milbre Brice and Logan, Bryan Eric Redler and Mackenzie, Zachary Jude Meissner, Lauren LaCoste Redler, Olivia Gale Dooley; beloved niece, Dana LeDoux-Cortez and Marc, along with thier children, Ellen and Amelia and a host of other family and beloved friends. Her role as a homemaker was filled with joy as she created a nurturing environment for her loved ones.

Milbre Etta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bryan Warren Redler; father, Joseph Hugh Ledoux; mother, Milbre Myers LeDoux; brother, Freemont LeDoux.

A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milbre Etta cherished the friendships she made along the way. She was an alumna of Sigma Sigma Sigma, which reflected her commitment to lifelong learning and connection. Milbre Etta also worked as a nurse's aide at the Beauregard Parish Health Unit and later as a teacher's aide for Pre-K special needs children at KR Hanchey, where her patience and kindness left a lasting impact on both children and families.

Milbre Etta had a passion for the outdoors, often found working in her flower gardens, fishing in Hackberry, or enjoying nature in any way possible. She was also a wonderful cook, loved collecting cookbooks, and was an avid fan of cooking shows. In her later years, she developed a love for home improvement shows, especially "Home Town."

She embraced life to the fullest, savoring every moment spent traveling with family and celebrating the unique culture of South Louisiana, from lively festivals to the beauty of plantation homes.

Milbre Etta's family invites you to join them in honoring her life and legacy. A Rosary will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a public viewing at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. A Mass celebrating her life will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:10 PM. Milbre Etta will be remembered fondly, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Milbre Etta's final wishes will be honored through cremation, and her love will continue to bloom in the memories she leaves behind.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Karen Mellon, Pat Graham, Sheila Mahaffey and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during Milbre Etta's illness.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Milbre Etta.
