Michael Henry

Michael Paul Henry, 55, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Mike was a 1984 graduate of Rosepine High School. He was a proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Sons of the American Legion and Grace Church, where he served as a door keeper. Mike was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Carla Perkins Henry of Rosepine, LA; son, Cory Henry & Claudia of Lacey, WA; mother, Wanda Adair of DeRidder, LA; stepsons, Canaan Hester, Luke Hester and Jennifer, all of Baton Rouge, LA; step-brothers; Mike Banks & Angela of Dry Creek, LA, Ronnie Banks & Betty of DeRidder, LA; sister, Julie Weaver and Don of  Hollidaysburg, PA; step-sister, Jeanie Adair of  Nags Head, NC; grandchildren: Collin, Parker, Aren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Henry; step-mother, Gladys Banks Henry; step-brother, Gerald Banks; step-dad, Larry Adair; and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 also, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother George Lee Glass and Brother Michael Clark will officiate the service. Grace Church Door Keepers will serve as pallbearers.
