Melinda Ann Jackson Johnson, 62, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Travis Johnson and Sarah of Leesville, LA, Trent Johnson and Mary of Pitkin, LA, Kendall Johnson and Wendy of DeRidder, LA; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; life-long friends, Bonnie Jakub of Leesville, LA, Modina Lacaze of Pitkin, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Johnson; grandson, Killua Bell; parents, Orzo and Rose Jackson; brothers, Joe Jackson, Keven Jackson; sisters, Bonnie Cockrell, Jean Buell, Matilda Fortner.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Lone Star Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA. Brother Hardy Estes will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Travis Johnson, Julius Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Blake Johnson, Ethan Johnson, David Riker. Burial will follow at Johnson Bailey Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
