Melba J. Puryear, 72, of Singer,  Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Rev. Donnis Ashworth and Rev. Jordan Doyle will officiate. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.
