Maxie Lee Jeans Stephens, 93, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sherri Nelson of Marshal, AR; sister, Rita Appleton of AZ; sisters-in-law, Linda Jeans and Danise Jeans, both of Merryville, LA; one grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Nelson, W.O. Stephens; son, John Ed Nelson; brothers, Charlie Jeans, Bradys Jeans; sisters, Billy Fay Roby, Helen Franks, Regina Grant, Beatrice Chandler.

A graveside funeral service and burial will held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 18, 2020 at Meadows Cemetery in Merryville, LA. Cary Cooley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
