Mary Droddy Mcsweeney

Mary Droddy McSweeney, 72 of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward McSweeney; sons, Rodney McSweeney and wife Darla of DeRidder, LA and James McSweeney of Merryville, LA; daughters, Tammy Thornton of Dothan, AL and Karen Lee of Charleston, SC; brother, LeRoy Droddy and wife Jeannie of San Antonio, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Margaret Droddy; three brothers, Ernest Droddy Jr., Douglas Droddy and Earl Ray Droddy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 11:00am also at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
