Marquee Johnson, 44, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are; his son, D’Jon Tramelle Hall of Lake Charles, LA;  daughter, Kianna Silas of Longville, LA; father, George Aaron Whitt of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Kendell Whitt of PA, Aaron Whitt of Belleville, IL; grandmother, Rosie Whitt; aunt, Cynthia Johnson of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Mia, Kallie, D’Jon, Jr., DeShawn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Denise Witt; grandmother, Catherine Gilchrist.

Memorial will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Repast will be held following the service at Cynthia Johnson’s home, 3160 Pleasant Lane, DeRidder, LA.
