Marlon Glen "Ham" Hamilton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marlon Glen “Ham” Hamilton, born September 11, 1958, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 67, holding the hand of the love of his life, after battling cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Alma Hamilton, and his brothers Vernon and Franklin Hamilton.

He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Garner, his daughters Candis and Lydia, his 11 grandchildren, and his brothers Hershal Hamilton and Michael Hamilton.

He was a strong and stubborn man, set in his ways, but beneath that tough exterior was a deep and ever enduring love for his family. He loved Sandra fiercely, a love that endured even after divorce, and he never stopped caring for her. Whatever history and broken pieces existed between them, love had the last word. He was a loving father to his daughters, Candis Holder and Lydia Troyer, and a proud, loving grandfather to his grandchildren, each of whom held a very special place in his heart, they were truly the joy in his life.

Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home, and the family will host a private service on a later date.
