April 5, 1950 - February 23, 2016

Marilyn Elaine Trantham White “Elaine”, 65, of DeRidder, LA, passed away on February 23, 2016.  Elaine was born in Andrews, TX on April 5, 1950 to the late Dorothy Van Houten and Lemmie Trantham.  Elaine worked for Coushatta Casino for 14 years and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Wayne Trantham and wife Joan of Fort Worth, TX; son, Reese Martin of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Kelly Rudy and husband Christopher of DeRidder, LA, Johnie Smith of Sugartown, LA, and Ronda Cook of Sugartown, LA; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace White; and sisters, Earlene Trantham Esqueda and Wynell Bohannan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  A graveside service will be Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00am at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cravens, LA.
