Margie Mary McGlothlin 73, of DeQuincy, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Lake Charles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John McGlothlin; sons, Larry McGlothlin and wife Barbara of Hemphill, TX, and Elvin John McGlothlin and wife Ashley of DeQuincy, LA; daughters, Genna Marks, Kathy McGlothlin, Marie Beckworth and husband Joe, and Flavia Holman and husband David all of DeQuincy, LA; brother, RC Pickering, Jr. and wife Cindy of Hemphill, TX; sisters, Annie Mae Dalton, Marilyn Anderson and husband Joe, and Ruby Doyle and husband Clayton all of DeQuincy, LA; grandchildren, Trinity Speights and husband Steven of Singer, LA, Keith Allen Smith of DeQuincy, LA, and Kenny Smith; great grandchildren, Devin Bush, Charleston McGlothlin, Ian Bush, Madison McGlothlin, Raven McGlothlin, Lee Stains, Jaiden Speights, and Lea Speights.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and RC Pickering, Sr.; sister, Louise Parker; and grandson, Russell Pennington, Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2:00pm until 10:00pm at Pentecostal House of Praise in DeQuincy, LA.  Funeral service will be Sunday, November 23, 2014 2:00pm at Pentecostal House of Praise.  Burial will follow at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, LA.  Rev. Anthony Kennon and Rev. David Kennon will officiate.
