It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Ann Gill Perkins, who passed away on September 12, 2026, just three days shy of her 64th birthday. Lisa was born on September 15, 1962, in Deridder, Louisiana, to Ray and Jewel Wisby Gill. Where she spent her life dedicated to her family, community, and faith.
A devoted homemaker, Lisa poured her love into creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family. Her huge heart and radiant smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Lisa cherished the simple joys in life, often seen decorating her home with delight for the holidays, especially Christmas, when she brightened the season with her festive spirit. Lisa was an active member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church, where her faith guided her life and brought her immense joy. She loved supporting family events and was a steadfast presence at gatherings, always encouraging and uplifting those around her.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband Michael Perkins, daughter, Kayleigh Zaworski (Josh) and bonus daughter Chelsea Crain; grandchildren, Liam Perkins and bonus grandchild Kennedy Castilaw; siblings, Byron Gill (Pam), Sharon Hoffman, Mary Johnson (Johnny), Kay NesSmith (Tony), Amy Gill, and Zelma Gill; Special niece, Haidyn Duff; Special family, Jerry Inman (Benita), Pam Taylor (Merritt), Lisa Tant (Aaron), and Mandy Keel (Eric). With a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Wayne Gill, Landry Gill, and Ramona Tuck; Nephews, Rusty Gill and Cody NesSmith; and Niece, Micah Eddy.
A public visitation for Lisa will be held at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will take place at the same church on September 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Brother Brandon Gill will officiate the service. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
In this difficult time, let us remember Lisa for her kindness, compassion, and the light she brought into our lives. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
