Linville Lewis Miller Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linville Lewis Miller Jr. “Bubba” on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born on April 2, 1960, in Kentucky, to his parents Linville and Mildred Miller, and later became a cherished resident of Deridder, Louisiana. His kindness, laughter, and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. 

Bubba proudly served in the United States Army, a commitment that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and respect for others. His service to his country was a testament to his unwavering dedication and loyalty. His warm, vibrant personality was evident in everything he did. He had a unique gift for putting a smile on anyone's face and made it his mission to spread joy wherever he went. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan Miller, of DeRidder, LA., siblings; Carolyn M. Miller, Yolanda Miller, Michelle Ernestine Jackson, William C. Miller, and George E. Miller; he has a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Stacey Miller. A memorial service to honor Bubba’s life and legacy will be held in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located in Leesville, LA. On Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the American Diabetes Organization.

In this final act, we remember a man who brought so much light into the lives of others and who will continue to shine in our hearts.
