Lila Alice Pierce Couteter, 71, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May, 11, 2019.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Roy Couteter of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Michelle Wellman of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Ronnie Pierce of DeQuincy, LA, Carl Pierce Jr. of Singer, LA and Donnie Pierce of Mobile, AL; sisters, Verna Pickering, Evelyn Bowman, Meriam Massie all of Singer, LA and Gail Frazier of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Dustin Wellman and Courtney Anderson; great grandchildren, Aubrie Hagan, Ryder Jones, Bransyn Anderson and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen Pierce; brothers, Roger, Robert, Tommy, Kenny, and Jerry Pierce

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Singer Baptist Church in Singer, LA.  Brother Clyde Clark will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Dustin Wellman, Joe Bowman, Craig Fontenot, Dallas Anderson, Pat Ashworth, and Blaine Mitchell.  Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
