Leon "Pete" Willis 82, of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Merryville, LA.  Visitation was held on Wednesday, may 5, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Fuleral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Bro. Holmer Cornell Longoria officiated.  Interment was at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

Leon is survived by his daughter: Sandra Willis of Merryville, LA; sister: Jackie Stephenson of Lake Charles, LA.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Louise Willis; mother: Bertha Willis; father: George Willis; grandchild: Scotty Willis.
